Here’s three tips to keep the house warm without selling a kidney to pay for the heating bill this winter:
- Thick curtains that open to either side of your window can block drafts and let in sunlight when it’s available.
- Rugs and carpets can prevent heat from escaping through hard surfaces like stone and wood flooring. Plus they’re nicer to walk on!
- Movement and exercise increase blood circulation, especially to the fingers and toes. Move more to stay warmer! (Maybe with some CrossFit?)
