Here’s three tips to keep the house warm without selling a kidney to pay for the heating bill this winter:

  1. Thick curtains that open to either side of your window can block drafts and let in sunlight when it’s available.
  2. Rugs and carpets can prevent heat from escaping through hard surfaces like stone and wood flooring. Plus they’re nicer to walk on!
  3. Movement and exercise increase blood circulation, especially to the fingers and toes. Move more to stay warmer! (Maybe with some CrossFit?)
